Here’s what you need to know to protect yourself and others from falling victim to these scams.

How To Identify Job Scams

Scammers behind these fraudulent websites go to great lengths to make their operations look legitimate. Here are the key warning signs to help you identify and avoid these scams:

1. Fake Websites:

  • Fraudulent domains such as hired-talents.comhired-jobs.com, and hired-talent.com have been used to mimic Hiredly’s official website. These scams often resurface under new domains after being reported and taken down.
  • Scammers mimic Hiredly’s branding, using high-quality visuals, fake customer testimonials, and false claims like “trusted by big brands.”
  • Always verify the website domain: Hiredly’s official domain is hiredly.com, which includes the following subdomains:
    • my.hiredly.com
    • hub.hiredly.com
    • go.hiredly.com
    • x.hiredly.com
    • sg.hiredly.com

2. Extraordinary Job Offers:

  • The scam websites offer flexible, remote freelance opportunities that promise exceptionally high pay for minimal effort—such as completing simple tasks or liking social media posts.
  • Red Flag: If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

3. Requests for Payment:

  • Scammers ask for “penalty fees” or other charges, claiming these are required for onboarding or training.
  • Hiredly does not ask job seekers to pay any fees for applying to jobs or using our platform.

4. Fake Contacts:

Scammers often use fraudulent WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, and bank accounts to appear credible. To avoid falling for these tactics, remember:

  • Official Emails: All emails from Hiredly will come from a @hiredly.com domain. Any other email addresses are not affiliated with us.
  • Phone Numbers: Hiredly operates only through these official numbers:
    • +60 11-5446 0461
    • +60 11-5631 5208
  • Bank Accounts: Hiredly does not request payments via personal bank accounts. If payment is required for any legitimate reason, it will always be made to Wobb Sdn Bhd.

What to Do If You Encounter a Scam

If you come across a website, email, or message that seems suspicious, here’s what you should do:

1. Verify the Source:

2. Report the Scam:
