Our Story

AIA SHARED SERVICES

AIA Shared Services (AIASS) was established in May 2009 as a subsidiary of AIA Group Limited (known as ‘AIA’), the largest independent publicly listed pan-Asian life insurance group and a market leader in the Asia-Pacific region for life insurance premiums. 

Since its establishment, AIASS has grown from strength to strength and today, it consists a 1200-strong workforce, committed to providing best-in-class services to support the AIA Group’s operations.

Our People

       Essentially, we want our people to feel connected and proud to be with AIA and we have programs to support this through our engagement efforts and initiatives. Secondly, we want them to grow professionally and personally in AIA. Here, we provide development opportunities that cover on-the-job training, secondment to other countries and even moving from one department to another, and preparing them to be in a leadership role in the years to come.

      Even though we have different departments here, we tend to have cross support among teams and other departments. It’s also easier to have friends in different departments. My team members often go out together after work and this builds our relationship and strengthens the teamwork.
