Amphenol TCS was founded in 1968 as a division of Teradyne, Inc. and acquired by Amphenol Corporation in December of 2005. Amphenol Corporation, a US Fortune 500 Company and one of the largest manufacturer of interconnects products in the world, listed in NYSE & a US$8 billion company. The Company designs, manufacturers and markets electrical, electronic and fiber-optic connectors, interconnect systems and coaxial and specialty cable.

Manufacturing

Amphenol TCS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. manufacturing facilities are vertically integrated operations from the initial design stage through final design and manufacturing. The company currently has two factories in Bukit Minyak, Penang. One is advanced in manufacturing processes of molding, stamping and plating operations.  Another factory is specializing in high-performance connector’s assembly.

The Company‘s manufacturing facilities are ISO9001 (BV) and ISO14001 (BV) certified; recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA).
