EDM HOLDINGS SDN BHD

Establish since 2002, EDM Holdings Sdn Bhd first operated at Bukit Minyak for 4 years before being relocated to Penang Science Park on the year 2020. The company was established by the current Executive Director, Mr Teh Teng Wah and his business partner on the premise of penetrating global self clinching fasterners market by providing both solutions, design and service to the customers. From the earlier years, the workforce has expanded rapidly from 4 people to the current 80 people supporting the organization growth in the market. 

Looking at the trend of increasing demand from local and oversea market, from 2005 onward, EDM had invested RM2.0 million for 23,000 square feet plant and RM2.0 million for machine facilities. In 2009 onward EDM allocating additional RM1.5 million in Research and Development (R&D) and machinery. In 2023, EDM Holdings Sdn Bhd has officially become a wholly owned subsidiary of Oxford Innotech Berhad (OXB). 

Henceforth, EDM has emerged as a major provider of products, services, and solutions to industrial and commercial users of fasteners and mechanical components. With aggressive marketing strategies, EDM has ventured out of Malaysia and has emerged as a global supplier of Self Clinching Fastener with registered brand name “EDM”, supplying parts to USA, Europe, Norway, Germany and Asia countries like Japan, Thailand and Vietnam.
