Entrepreneurs' Organization (Malaysia)

Our Story

About the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO)

The Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) is a global, peer-to-peer network of more than 12,000 influential business owners with 160 chapters in 50 countries. Founded in 1987, EO is the catalyst that enables leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow, leading to greater success in business and beyond.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization also operates the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards program, the premier award for undergraduate students that own and run businesses while attending a college or university, as well as the Accelerator Program, a series of quarterly, high-impact learning events that provide business owners with the tools, knowledge, and skills to grow their businesses to more than US$1 million in annual revenue.

The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Malaysia is a Malaysian community of business owners – founders or controlling shareholders of small and large companies in every industry with at least USD1 million revenue. Founded 20 years ago in 1997, it is more than just an entrepreneurial educational organization. It also stresses upon the importance of personal development of its members, as an equal partner to professional achievements. The experience of being an EO member has often been described as “life-changing”.

The Global University is one of EO’s biggest events, and in 2014, EO Malaysia had the honour of hosting the University in Penang. It was the highest rated University by its attendees who came from all over the world, a testament to EO Malaysia’s “Rockstar” status within the EO Global community. No wonder Malaysia is often recognized as one of the best EO chapter worldwide.

Our Vision / Mission / Value Proposition

Our Vision: To build the world's most influential community of entrepreneurs.

Our Mission: Engage leading entrepreneurs to learn and grow.

Our Value Proposition: The Entrepreneurs’ Organization enriches members’ lives by providing benefits drawn from three dynamic areas:

  • Peer-to-peer learning: Members share their personal and professional issues they face in a confidential, non-competitive environment. They learn and grow by sharing their experiences with peers, not simply by listening to advice.
  • Once-in-a-lifetime experiences: Not only do EO members attend unique conferences in cities all over the world, but they also receive access to exclusive social events, behind-the-scenes invitations and exciting networking opportunities.
  • Connections to experts: EO members tap into a network of experts on an as-needed basis, drawing from the experience of others in areas such as medical treatment, business advice, lifeskills coaching and more.
