About Us and Our Story
THE EARLY DAYS
Foto Flash Sdn Bhd, initially named Photo Flash Trading, was established in year 1992 principally involved in retailing of imaging equipment (cameras and films) and photo processing. Photo printing was huge back then, when Kodak cameras were the leaders of the market, and smartphones were non-existent. The company was later converted to a private limited company and opened our first outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC).
The company's core business involves selling of all leading brands of products in the line of digital cameras, video camcorders, audio/visual gadgets, photo printers and related photography accessories. We have also actively participated in all major ICT events throughout the year including PIKOM PC Fair, Malaysia Mega Sales, Year End Sale, PC Expo, Single-Brand Roadshows & various events.
Aside from our home brand, Foto Flash is also the authorised retailer for other significant brands and have brand concept stores throughout Klang Valley such as Olympus Brand Store and Sony Centre. Foto Flash soon became a household name and a one-stop-shop for all digital imaging and photography-related products.
EXPANSION AND DIVERSION
Following the change in market trend and popular culture due to the introduction of internet which drove globalisation, Foto Flash then embarked on a progressive expansion scheme and opened our first gadget store in year 2007 under a subsidiary name called Flash Gadgets. With this new brand, we aim to create digital lifestyle convenience for all of our customers by merchandising only genuine and high quality products, along with our longstanding believe in providing great customer service.
Flash Gadgets now carries all major brands for gadget-related products, ranging from headphones, drones, fitness wearables, games, to speakers and phone accessories. Today, we have a total of 3 outlets in major malls (with another opening soon), and is expanding every year to cover all major towns and cities.
We believe people do not just own the gadgets, but they own gadgets according to their lifestyle. We value lifestyle over gadgets and we aim to fit the gadgets to your lifestyle.
