What began as a modest street-based business in the Sunway area gradually developed as Fauzi built his experience, customer base and industry knowledge. After several years of establishing the business, he opened his first physical store in Kampung Baru in 2012 under the name FTFG BUNDLE, together with several business partners.

Like many growing businesses, the company faced challenges during its early years, including financial difficulties that eventually led to the closure of the store. Undeterred, Fauzi continued pursuing his vision and, in October 2014, established a new business under the name FT GARAGE RACING.

In 2015, the company faced one of the most difficult moments in its history when Fauzi tragically passed away following an accident. His passing created considerable uncertainty over the future of the business, and the team initially considered ceasing operations.

Instead, the people who had worked closely alongside him chose to carry his vision forward.

Key members of the team, including Satte, Apit and other early members of the business, came together to rebuild and strengthen the company. Continuing under the FTGR name, the business subsequently operated through FTGR BIKE ACCESSORIES PLT, marking a new chapter built upon the foundation and entrepreneurial spirit established by its founder.

Following extensive market research and business restructuring, the company relocated to Jalan Kebun Nenas, Klang in February 2016. As demand for its products continued to grow, FTGR expanded its operations with the opening of a branch in Penang.

Over the years, FTGR strengthened its position within the motorcycle industry by developing relationships with established international and regional brands and distributors, including KYT, Arai, Shoei and AGV, as well as various suppliers across Asia and Europe.

On 28 January 2018, FTGR opened its Setapak outlet, further expanding its retail presence. At the same time, the company evolved beyond its initial focus on helmets by introducing a broader range of motorcycle riding gear, accessories and related products.

In April 2019, the business underwent another significant milestone with its incorporation as FTGR BIKE SDN BHD, reflecting the company's continued growth and transition towards a more structured corporate organisation.

FTGR continued its expansion with the opening of its Larkin, Johor Bahru branch in June 2022, followed by its Kajang branch in December 2022.

Today, FTGR operates through its headquarters and warehouse in Sungai Lokan, Penang, together with its retail presence across key locations including Klang, Penang, Setapak, Johor Bahru and Kajang.

As the organisation continues to grow, FTGR has strengthened its internal capabilities through dedicated functions in Quality Control, Market Research, and Product Development. The company has also invested in research and development capabilities, including engaging engineering talent with educational backgrounds in Japan, to support product development and continuous improvement.

From its humble beginnings in 2006 to becoming an established name within Malaysia's motorcycle riding gear industry, FTGR's journey has been shaped by resilience, passion and continuous growth.

The company remains committed to preserving the vision upon which it was founded while continuing to evolve with the needs of today's riders.
