Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (GWM Malaysia) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great Wall Motor Co., Ltd., China's largest SUV and pickup manufacturer. Established on February 23, 2022, GWM Malaysia focuses on the maintenance and repair of motor vehicles, wholesale and retail of new motor vehicles, and the importation of new motor/electric vehicles, commercial cars, and their parts and accessories. 

Great Wall Motor Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (GWM Malaysia) aligns with the mission and vision of its parent company, Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWM). GWM's mission emphasizes "surprising customers, improving the well-being of staff, creating value for customers, and contributing to society." This mission reflects a commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction. 

The official launch of GWM Malaysia took place in July 2022, under the theme "Go With Malaysia," marking the company's commitment to the Malaysian market. The event was held at Menara Binjai in Kuala Lumpur and was attended by key figures, including Zhang Jiaming, President of Great Wall Motor ASEAN Region, and Cui Anqi, Managing Director of Great Wall Motor Malaysia. 

In November 2022, GWM Malaysia introduced the Ora Good Cat, an electric vehicle, to the Malaysian market. This was followed by the launch of the GWM Cannon Ultra pickup truck in May 2023. 

As of January 2025, GWM Malaysia celebrated its second anniversary and announced plans to expand its model lineup in the country. 

GWM Malaysia is actively collaborating with local enterprises, such as Go Auto Group, to facilitate localized assembly through Completely Knocked Down (CKD) operations, aiming to strengthen its presence and commitment to the Malaysian automotive market.
