Inspidea loves cartoons. Watching them is the fastest way to make us feel like kids again. Because we love them, we make them.

As kids, watching cartoons was our first love. And yet, making cartoons didn’t make it on our to-do list. Andrew was a trained Urban Planner and CJ was a trained financial analyst. We had other “serious” plans. The thought that making cartoons could be as fun as watching them made us think twice about our future. And so in 2002, not knowing a thing about the craft of cartoon production, we dove into the deep end of the pool and started Inspidea. Whatever skills the two of us don’t have, we supplemented it by surrounding ourselves with a team of talented artists and support crew who are passionate about making cartoons.

It’s all hard work. But we persevered. After many cries and countless laughs, we are still here. We want to make ourselves and also others feel like kids again. And no kidding, making cartoons would help all of us reach there. 

Inspidea has grown from 4 in 2002 to now more than 300. That is one big community. We work here. And we also do other fun stuff when we are not working. We have had fitness, yoga, meditation and foreign language class held here. We have intra studio games and competitions annually. And anyone can play with our office cats, who work hard at being cute. We have ventured abroad and explored the world. We set sail on a yatch, had beach parties and gone on a food trip.

We work together. We play together. We feel that “together” is a good way of spending time. That is the spirit of our community.
