At MAA Group Berhad (MAAG), we're a leading Malaysian investment holding company listed on Bursa Malaysia's Main Board. Our story began in 1968 as Malaysian American Assurance Company Berhad (MAAB), later known as Malaysian Assurance Alliance Berhad (MAA Assurance) in 1985.

We officially became MAA Holdings Berhad in 1998 before transforming into MAAG in 2011 following the sale of MAA Assurance to Zurich Insurance. Throughout our 40-year journey, we've been heavily involved in various sectors, including insurance (life, general, takaful), asset management, property services, and IT/security through our subsidiaries.

In 2016, we strategically sold our stake in MAA Takaful Berhad, now Zurich Takaful Malaysia Berhad, marking our exit from local financial services regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia.

Presently, our key focuses are General Insurance through MAA General Assurance Philippines, Inc. in the Philippines, and Education Services. We're also active in hire purchase, leasing, SME debt factoring, advisory services in hotel management, food and beverage, property management, and logistics.

We're not stopping there! Currently, we're actively seeking new core businesses to diversify our income streams, emphasizing our commitment to growth and innovation.
