Mahkota Medical Centre (Mahkota) is Malaysia’s reputable private hospital located in Melaka with a track record of 32 years. Covering a license capacity of 272 beds, we have more than 120 practising consultants across an expertise range of medical to surgical specialties and sub-specialties. 

Our vision is to be the most reputable referral hospital in Southeast Asia by bringing together the most competent medical capabilities from within and outside of our hospital.

Established strategically in the heart of Melaka amongst a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mahkota pioneers as amongst the first in medical tourism as early as 1998. It is the ideal location for medical care within reach from various tourism spots. Before the pandemic, we saw more than 300,000 local and international patients and performed more than 12,500 surgeries annually. The hospital is the first Joint Commission International (JCI)-accredited hospital in Melaka since January 2020 and we have also earned the 6th Edition Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH) accreditation.
