We Are Masdora
MASDORA is a Malaysian home-grown gold jewellery brand that specialises in offering affordable luxury 916, 999 gold jewellery and 999.9 investment gold bars and dinars, ensuring both elegance, value and quality for customers.
The name “MASDORA” was derived from two syllables “MAS” (Gold in Malay Language) and “DORA” (Gift in Greek Language), subsequently giving the meaning of Gift of Gold.
The Story Behind Masdora
MASDORA was established in 2020 amidst the unprecedented challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. As the world faced lockdowns and uncertainty due to the volatile economy, Malaysians saw the value of gold consistently asserted its position as a “safe-haven” asset.
Amid these turbulent times, the buying behaviour of Malaysians shifted to online shopping as the primary means of retail. By leveraging innovative solutions and technology, MASDORA embraced the opportunity to make value-adding gold jewellery accessible by emerging on online marketplaces, maximising its potential to reach a wider range of customers. Aside from offering gold investment opportunities, MASDORA is proudly looking forward to introduce exclusive designs on in-house gold jewellery collections.
In 2021, MASDORA took a significant step forward beyond the online marketplaces and opened the very first physical jewellery store in Butterworth, Pulau Pinang. This milestone marked a new chapter in the company’s journey, allowing customers a hands-on shopping experience.
In 2024, a new branch was opened in Gombak, Selangor. This expansion demonstrated MASDORA’s commitment to making our products more accessible to customers while continuing to uphold the values of trust, quality, and innovation.
