The Problem We Lived Through

It all started back in our university days at UPM. Like every other student, we relied on our computers for everything—but when they broke down, we faced a common frustration. The local computer shops were expensive, often overcharged, and never gave a straight answer. We felt confused and taken advantage of, left in the dark about what was really wrong with our machines. In that moment of shared struggle, a simple idea was born: there had to be a better, more honest way.

Our "Why": A Promise of Honesty

So, we decided to build it. OK Computer Solution wasn't founded just to fix computers; it was founded to fix a broken system. Our core mission has always been radical transparency. We believe that everyone, especially students on a tight budget, is entitled to clear advice and honest options from an expert they can trust. We promised to always explain the problem in plain language and provide solutions that put our customers' needs and wallets first.

Our Humble Beginnings

Our journey began in July 2009 in a small Kota Damansara apartment. With limited funds but unlimited drive, we started with whatever services we could offer—a cyber cafe, printing, and university registration help. It was a true bootstrap operation.

Our first big challenge was getting the word out. Without social media, we relied on flyers and banners, even getting scolded by condo management for putting them up! The biggest hurdle was earning the trust of our local community and convincing them that we were the reliable alternative they were looking for.

The Turning Point

Our breakthrough came not from a single client, but from consistent results. When we started generating a solid RM 25k in monthly revenue, our reputation began to precede us. Suppliers began seeking us out, a clear sign that we had become a established and respected name in the area. We knew then that our model of honesty was not just a nice idea—it was a successful business strategy.
