The Earnest Co

The Earnest Co. is a group of individuals that were once wiped out by a disaster (The Flood that devastated Klang Valley and many parts of Malaysia in December 2021). That did not stop us and we decided to band together to make a difference to Malaysia agricultural landscape through innovative and sustainable farming.

Post-pandemic, the significance of food security and environmental stewardship has become clear for Malaysia. With underutilised arable land and a tropical climate, the country should prioritise growing food and cash crops.

We reap what we sow and with today’s climate change, The Earnest Co. seeks to do all we can to ensure that we protect the soil that we grow our food. We emphasise environmental stewardship. We are always ready to work with the government, the community and the related industries to strengthen the country’s food security.

• To reduce Malaysia's dependency on food imports by revitalising underutilised land and cultivating high-demand crops (Pineapple) & future proteins (duckweed)
• To utilise regenerative practices for environmental regeneration of the soil
• To uplift local communities (Orang Aslit to residents of rehabilitation centers) via knowledge sharing, provision of stable jobs and creating a new generation of "Agropreneurs".
