We grow our business in a way that makes us proud! Parent company to KAKIYUKI (formerly KAKIGORI) & Sunbather Coffee- we created some wildly innovative and successful food brands in Kuala Lumpur. 

Our first cafe "THIRDWAVE" was established in Bangsar South in 2013, focusing on specialty coffee & brunch food. Based on the decision of the company to diversity our food service; we have now ventured into dessert market, hence the birth of "KAKIGORI"- a Japanese specialty shaved ice bar in October 2016. We have rebranded KAKIGORI to KAKIYUKI in July 2019. Now, there are 5 KAKIYUKI outlets in Klang Valley, 1 outlet in Penang, and an upcoming outlet in Johor Bahru. 

The company also launched our first overseas outlet in San Francisco, USA in August 2019, progressively making our way to becoming an international lifestyle cafe chain. 

In March 2019, we successfully launched a new Japanese inspired specialty coffee cafe, focuses on western-influenced Japanese cooking & great dessert.  Watch this brand to take over some coolest neighbourhoods near you soon!

We are a fast-paced F&B company with vastly young, innovative and passion-driven team members. 

We started off as a relatively small, but close-knit and highly dedicated team. The founding team helped built our culture. The work environment is stimulating, creative, informal and is often based on teamwork and mutual trust.

In Thirdwave My, we are all diehard fans of our own brands and care about the products we release. You'd bump into colleagues in our outlet even on their off day! We are also all friends and family: we help and respect each other- make it less scary to voice out different opinion.
