<p>The Biji-biji Initiative is a social enterprise that aims to share progressive ideas with everyone. We are a community of educators, designers, makers, prototypers, artists and innovators.  <br><br>Beyond Bins by Biji-biji Initiative is all about the people and planet. This campaign strives for a sustainable and circular economy by giving waste a newfound value while promoting alternative sources of income to underprivileged communities. Circular solutions comprise a big part of the new paradigm for sustainable development. With Beyond Bins, we embody the practicality of sustainability; we are excited to involve you in this movement.<br><br></p>
<p>Mereka (Biji-biji Education Arm) provides an alternative way to nurture creativity in STEAM education ingrained with principles of sustainability. We teach the skills of the future, to prepare youths and changemakers for the demands and opportunities of the 21st century. With the Mereka approach, we aim to build a talent pool that is resourceful, engaged and informed enough to take on the challenges of our common future. Me.reka Programs are often designed for and engage with marginalized and underprivileged youth.<br><br>As a pioneer in innovative education, Mereka has been recognized and engaged by various corporates, universities, and schools to develop digital platforms and to support their curriculum development and transition towards a more inclusive 21st-century future.</p>

Me.reka Platform is a multi-stakeholder platform designed to bridge gaps between innovators and underutilized resources available at innovation hubs (research &amp; development labs, design and prototyping studios, rapid (digital) manufacturing facilities, makerspaces and universities) to create an innovation-friendly and collaborative environment. It aims to unlock underutilized resources, providing inclusive access to technology for the application of advanced technologies, and creating new economic opportunities.&nbsp;</div><div><br>This is a great opportunity to get involved with all types of legal matters that concern a small but growing business. If you are looking to gain experience in various legal areas with a lot of room for exploration and research, this is for you. <br><br><strong>You will be recommended as an intern to our legal partner, Simrenjit in Tay &amp; Co, and undergo training and education by him. <br></strong><br>The focus of your training and education will be regarding the basic legal needs. The education and training will include, but is not limited to:&nbsp;</div><ol><li>Research and drafting platform terms of service or terms of conditions or any related legal documents. Example of the platform that's similar to Me.reka Digital Platform is Airbnb and Upwork.</li><li>Research on legal database to establish the legal framework for the platform T&amp;C</li><li>Be provided with training on how to use the database and how to do the research on the proper case law and statutes which applicable</li></ol><div><br></div><div>You may be required by our legal counsel to attend at other locations as and when necessary for the purpose of your training and education. At the completion of your internship with Simrenjit, you may be given an internship under Me.reka for the implementation of your training and education.</div>
