Job Description

We are looking for an audit and tax intern to join our team and assist us in providing high-quality audit and tax services to our clients. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced auditors and gain exposure to various industries and sectors. 

As an audit intern, you will be responsible for:

• Performing audit procedures and tests on financial statements and transactions of clients.
• Preparing audit working papers and documentation in accordance with auditing standards and firm policies.
• Identifying and communicating audit issues and recommendations to senior auditors and managers.
• Assisting in the preparation of audit reports and financial statements for clients.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

As a tax intern, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing tax computations and returns for individuals and corporations.
• Researching and analyzing tax issues and laws.
• Assisting in tax planning and advisory projects for clients.
• Preparing tax correspondence and documentation for tax authorities and clients.
• Developing and maintaining professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

Job Requirements

To be successful as an audit intern, you need to have:

• Currently pursuring at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy, or equivalent.
• A strong interest and passion for audit, tax and accounting.
• A good understanding of accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
