SN498 WO#3 Cards Job Title: Junior Developer (L2) - Application Development Management Years of Experience: L2 (3-5 Years) Location: Kuala Lumpur Domain: Cards Job Summary: We are looking for a Junior Developer with expertise in Mainframe technologies to join our Application Development Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with Mainframe Cobol, CICS, and JCL in a banking environment, preferably in Cards-related projects. You will be responsible for contributing to the development, testing, and maintenance of banking applications, with a focus on CardLink and Vision Plus platforms. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Mainframe-based applications using Cobol, CICS, and JCL. Participate in the design and development of card payment systems and related banking solutions. Work on VSAM and sequential datasets for data storage and management. Support SDLC processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment of banking applications. Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing applications to ensure high system performance. Develop solutions in line with security and compliance standards. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during various stages of development and production. Required Skills & Qualifications: Mandatory Skills: o Experience in Mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, JCL). o Working knowledge of VSAM and sequential datasets. o Strong experience with SDLC in a banking project environment, preferably in the Cards domain. Nice to Have Skills: o Experience with Easytrieve. o Familiarity with CardLink and Vision Plus platforms. o Experience with Authorization systems in card payment processing. Operating System: Mainframe ZOS. Additional: o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks. o Good communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. o Must have experience working on banking projects, particularly Cards-related applications. o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a Mainframe environment efficiently.
