Job Summary:
The Application Maintenance / Production Support Engineer will be responsible for providing L3-level support and maintenance for applications within the WAM and OPI domains. The role focuses on supporting and enhancing API Gateway and Java-based microservices solutions, ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous availability.
Key Responsibilities
Provide L3 production support for applications running on Axway API Manager, API Gateway, and in-house Java microservices solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to maintain smooth system operations.
Monitor API and microservices performance, availability, and error rates to ensure service continuity.
Support and execute deployment, configuration, and maintenance activities across environments.
Participate in change management, release support, and environment validation processes.
Contribute to automation, process improvements, and preventive maintenance initiatives.
Technical Skills
Platform/Product: Axway API Manager, API Gateway, and in-house Java Microservices solutions
Equivalent experience with Apigee, Kong, or Layer 7 (CA/Broadcom) is also acceptable
Server/Database: Oracle Database 12c / 19c
Programming Language: Java (Spring Boot - Mandatory)
Operating Systems: Unix / Linux
