Job Title: Senior Developer - Core Banking (Remittance)
Domain: Core Banking

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with a strong background in Core Banking systems, specifically in Local and Bill Payments and ideally with exposure to Remittance modules. This role involves deep technical development on AS400 using RPG, code reviews, and working closely with business teams to deliver robust payment solutions. Experience in Cash Management, GIRO, or Instant Payment systems is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Core Banking applications focused on Local and Bill Payment modules.
Provide support and enhancement for Remittance systems where applicable.
Perform end-to-end development and debugging using RPG on AS400.
Handle cash management or rate provision modules OR work on GIRO and instant payment systems.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with coding standards.
Collaborate with business analysts and testers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and performance tuning.
Mentor junior developers and assist in task planning and estimations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Mandatory:

• 6-9 years of experience in core banking application development.
• Expertise in AS400 platform and RPG language.
• Experience with DB2 databases.
• Strong understanding of Local and Bill Payment systems.
• Experience in either Cash Management/Rate Provision OR GIRO and Instant Payments.
• Proficiency in code review processes and quality assurance.
   

Good to Have:

• Knowledge or experience in Remittance systems.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and processes.

• Familiarity with ALDON for software deployment automation on AS400.
• Experience with ARCAD for code quality and version control.
