Job Description SN1001 2025 Core Banking Job Title: Senior Developer (L3 Production Support, Silverlake) Domain: Core Banking Sub-Domain: L3 Support Experience Level: Senior (6-9 years of experience) Location: Kuala Lumpur Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our Core Banking L3 Support team, responsible for managing and resolving complex production issues in the Silverlake Core Banking environment. This role involves incident resolution, root cause analysis, and technical troubleshooting across multiple functional areas including Customer (BWCIF), Deposits (RBK), Loans, Collateral, NPL, Cash & Payments, and ATM services. The ideal candidate will be technically strong in RPG and COBOL on the AS400 platform, with proven experience in critical issue handling and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Provide L3 support for production issues on Silverlake Core Banking modules. Handle problem management, including root cause analysis, permanent fixes, and preventive measures. Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across core modules such as: o BWCIF (Customer) o RBK (Deposits) o Loans o Collateral o NPL o Cash & Payments o ATM Services Coordinate with L1/L2 support teams, business stakeholders, and vendor teams for issue resolution. Develop code fixes and perform controlled deployments on the AS400 platform. Document issue resolutions, update knowledge bases, and support audits or compliance reviews. Ensure service-level commitments (SLAs) are met and system stability is maintained. Technical Skills & Qualifications: 6-9 years of experience in Core Banking support and development. Strong expertise in: o RPG and COBOL programming on AS400 o DB2 database management and query optimization o Silverlake Core Banking modules and data structures Experience in production support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
