Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Core HCM Functional Lead to join our team. This hybrid role requires both leadership and hands on functional expertise in configuration, implementation and optimization of Workday’s Core HCM modules. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and support Workday Core HCM functionalities to enhance employee lifecycle management, organizational structures, and workforce administration. Additionally, you will also work with technical teams – including data and integration, providing functional inputs and validating testing scenarios.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support Workday Core HCM module implementation, configuration and optimization, serving both as a lead and hands-on expert.Provide expert guidance on Workday Core HCM best practices.Gather business requirements, lead client workshops, develop and maintain functional documentation and translate requirements into Workday system configurations.Configure Workday Core HCM business processes, including hire, job changes, terminations, position management, and organizational structuresConfigure Workday security roles, reporting, and dashboardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration of business processesWork closely with data and integration teams, providing functional inputs, validating test scenarios, and troubleshooting issuesConduct system testing, including preparing test cases, executing tests and resolving defectsProvide end-user training and develop documentationStay updated with Workday features and recommend process improvements to increase efficiencyServe as the go-to SME and escalation point for Workday Core HCM configurations, security, and system issuesProvide status updates to the PMO and executive leadership, ensuring transparency in project execution
