About you: Access is seeking an experienced PMO (Portfolio Management Office) Support Analyst to join our dynamic Products & Engineering (P&E) team. Reporting to the Head of PMO and working with colleagues from across the group you will provide comprehensive support and coordination services within the P&E function. You will capture and report on key metrics and KPIs, using available data sources for financial and governance modelling to support the efficient operation of the Products & Engineering Organisation. You will also engage with stakeholders globally, leveraging your experience with Power BI to handle data effectively and derive meaningful insights. Your keen interest in streamlining processes will enable you to provide valuable feedback based on the data obtained. You will advise on the available standards, procedures, methods, tools and techniques. You will evaluate project and programme governance, recommending and supporting changes where necessary, to ensure conformance to standards. You will seek to automate tasks and reporting to minimise the overhead on the P&E Squads, seeking tools, lean processes and automation over manual work. You will be passionate about enabling the Squads so that they can meet their Portfolio Management and Governance requirements, whilst allowing them to focus on the job of building great software. Day-to-day, you will: • Strive to be an expert in Access Engineering methodology and tooling • Be a point of contact for P&E Squads for any questions, advice or guidance • Triage any questions to a high standard if answers are not known – owning the stakeholder communication • Compile reporting on Divisions and Products to show ‘health’ using the full range of data and tooling available • Manage the collation and validation of data relating to the CapEx and R&D audits, including automated checkpoints throughout the Financial Year, to facilitate successful audits. • Liaise with the Products & Engineering Squads to resolve issues. • Own and support ad hoc change initiatives to a high standard, following a clear structure • Support of the wider Transformation and Excellence Team • Manage Business as Usual (BAU) activities eg. account creation Behaviours you will demonstrate: • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders • A strong knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies • Work independently and with limited guidance to complete tasks • Think laterally and logically based on existing knowledge to find solutions/answers • Work at pace, prioritising and where appropriate re-prioritising activities to get things done • A high degree of attention to detail • Strong communication skills, verbal and written adjusting as required based on the stakeholder seniority with the ability to influence • Naturally curious, always looking for improvements that can be made to process and tooling, own investigations and solution proposals • Ability to understand how Day-to-Day activities link into the Company Objectives • Embrace change, proactively understanding new functionality and processes Your skills and experiences might include: • Experience of supporting the full range of Portfolio Management Office activities. • Has significant experience utilising programme and project planning techniques. • Experience of implementing quality and risk management techniques. • Experience of an IT or an applications development environment. • Has project reporting or report collating experience. • Aptitude for managing/administering/configuring tooling, including curiosity and desire to automate. • Engaging presentation and communication skills. • Able to coordinate the plans for a programme or portfolio of activity. • Tenacious and able to make things happen with a diverse group of people. • Positive and supportive during periods of significant change. • Ability to work to tight timescales. • A commitment to quality. • Experience in handling data, conducting analysis, and visualising and interpreting them using Power BI while working with multiple matrices.
