About you: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front-End Developer with extensive experience in VueJS and TypeScript. This is a challenging role in an exciting, fast-paced company with lots of opportunity to work on a variety of interesting projects. In this role you will work as part of a cross-functional squad including backend engineers, product managers, designers, and QA engineers to build best-in-class accounting software that will come to shape the future of the industry. Continuous improvement is important, and it is expected that as an experienced Senior Engineer you are able to drive improvements within and across squads, influencing both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders. A strong understanding of modern signal-based reactivity runtimes used in frameworks such as VueJS, Svelte or SolidJS is a must. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a keen eye for design, and a commitment to delivering high-quality code. Day to day, you will: • Develop, maintain, and optimize front-end components using VueJS and TypeScript. • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into responsive, interactive web applications. • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards. • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and integrate them into projects as appropriate. • Work closely with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to deliver high-quality products on time. Your skills and experiences might also include: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with a focus on VueJS and TypeScript. • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Experience with state management libraries such as Pinia or Vuex. • Experience with other front-end frameworks and libraries. • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, or Mocha. • Experience with cloud-native technologies, platforms & services (Microsoft Azure). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git). Experience with machine learning and AI with a preference for financial modelling. • Knowledge of back-end technologies and RESTful APIs. • Solid understanding of design principles including UX best practices. Familiarity with modern build tools and package managers (Vite, npm, Yarn, etc.). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
