About You: As part of this role, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of high-performing, scalable applications and APIs. Utilizing your expertise in .NET Core, C#, Angular/React, and Azure services, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle. The role requires a strong understanding of full-stack development, containerized applications, CI/CD pipelines, SQL knowledge, and troubleshooting techniques to enhance application performance and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals and provide continuous support to improve system functionality and user experience. Key accountabilities and responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET Core/framework and Angular/React/Svelte etc. • Build and deploy applications on Azure services, including Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps. • Implement containerized solutions using Docker or similar technologies. • Optimize cloud-based applications for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. • Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for efficient and automated deployments. • Continuously monitor and improve pipeline performance. • Diagnose and resolve application and performance issues promptly. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members when needed. • Ensure proper documentation of development processes and system architecture. • Adhere to and promote industry best practices in coding, security, and application management. Key performance indicators: • Complete assigned development tasks within the sprint timelines while adhering to acceptance criteria. • Achieve a 95% or higher code quality, ensure APIs and applications meet established performance benchmarks, and maintain a 99% success rate for CI/CD pipeline deployments with minimal rollbacks. • Reduce Azure service costs, decrease CI/CD pipeline execution time, and contribute to maintaining a 99.9% or higher system availability. • Actively participate in agile ceremonies and team meetings. • Resolve application or performance issues and deliver comprehensive RCA documentation for critical issues. • Propose and implement new coding or operational best practices and Conduct or contribute to the knowledge-sharing sessions. Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications: • Strong experience in full-stack development using .NET Core/framework, C#, and web API development. • Proficiency in Angular or React and modern front-end technologies (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux). • Hands-on experience with Azure services like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps. • Proficiency in developing and deploying containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes etc. • Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and performance optimization strategies. • Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Pipelines or equivalent tools. • Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure automation. • Knowledge of software architectures, design patterns and design principles. • Experience with modern SDLC and Agile methodologies. • Solid understanding of SQL Server, including query optimization and database design. • Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with application performance and operational issues. • Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing solutions effectively. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. • A proactive attitude toward learning and adopting new technologies. • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 5-8 years of professional experience in software development and cloud-based solutions.
