About you: You are a dynamic, skilled, high performing, Test Automation Engineer. You have a passion for technology and a keen sense of pride in the work you do. You coach the team to use modern techniques, patterns and practices to build accessible, scalable and evolvable software that is robust. You demonstrate the ability to co-ordinate and plan engineering sprint/release activities, prioritising according to risk and changes in the delivery schedule. You work closely with your peers to ensure cross-team and cross-division activities are performed cohesively and efficiently, delivering the desired results for the business. You are constantly seeking to improve both your own skills and the skills of others and enjoy working in a fast paced dynamic company. Day to Day, you will: • Automation Tools: Expertise in Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, and Appium for automating web and mobile application testing. • Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, and C# to develop and maintain automated test scripts. • CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools. • Test Frameworks: Ability to design and build test automation frameworks from scratch using practices like Page Object Model (POM) and BDD/TDD. • API & Performance Testing: Skilled in API testing (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, Gatling). Your skills and experience might also include: • Performance Testing: Using tools like JMeter or Gatling for load testing and performance analysis. • Database Testing: Familiarity with SQL for validating data consistency and integrity. • Soft Skills: o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. o Collaboration and communication with development teams to resolve issues efficiently.
