Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a part-time server at our Banana Leaf Restaurant. The server will be responsible for providing excellent dining experiences, ensuring customer satisfaction, and adhering to the unique traditions of serving food on banana leaves.

The job covers the following:

• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Provide menus and explain QR Ordering method.
• Provide recommendations on the menu, including traditional dishes and beverages.
• Serve meals on banana leaves in an organised manner.
• Ensure all condiments are refilled as needed.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly after guests depart.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the entire dining area, including tables and the serving area.
• Address customer inquiries and special requests politely and professionally.
• Handle complaints or feedback with patience and escalate issues to the supervisor if necessary.
• Help in preparing the dining area before service (preparing banana leaves, filling up serving tray).
• Assist in the preparation and garnishing of beverages (If needed)
• Replenish utensils, plates, and other service items as needed.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
• Assist other team members during busy periods.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols, including the unique presentation of food on banana leaves.
