Job Description

• Provides financial management and support to the business, advancing overall financial goals and objectives.
• Good financial management skills, communication skills, and have a hands-on approach in order to manage the business from a finance perspective.
• Responsible in overseeing all activities of executive and ensuring proper execution of functions.
• Manage budget processes, inclusive of periodic forecasting for the business and ensuring complete, accurate, and timely financial reporting, inclusive of balance sheet controls and financial information interpretation and control.
• Tasked with leading ad hoc financial analyses in order to assist management in the evaluation of the profitability of income streams as well as the potential for cost efficiencies.
• Liaise with the relevant stakeholders in creating financial plans and strategies that support the overall business objectives. In this collaboration he/she also creates, monitors, and measures financial metrics.
• Takes responsibility in ensuring finance department is abreast of changes in financial legislation regulations and ensures that all financial transaction across the business are in legal compliance.
• Conducts research and identifies opportunities for the business considering the business’s financial objectives, risk, and investment viability.
• Establishes accurate forecasting processes that enable the formulation of informed strategies and direction by departmental leadership.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy & Finance.
• Professional Course like ACCA, CIMA and equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. 
• Previous experience in a similar role that requires strong understanding of financial controls, accounting, reporting, and business partnering.
• Ensure the internal control are always up to date and sufficient
• Develop a strong financial control environment and provide meaningful financial information for decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information and analysis to various audiences in a manner that ensures their understanding
• High level literacy, numerical and problem-solving skills, including intermediate computer skills such as Microsoft Office Excel.
