Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Retail Business Growth

  • Lead and motivate retail team to achieve sales targets, with high standard of performance, good teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive result, continuous improvement and excellent customer service

People Management

  • Lead the retail team, fostering a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and employee morale
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the retail team regularly to ensure consistency, and improvement of productivity and service quality
  • Plan and forecast staffing needs based on sales trends, foot traffic, and operational requirements
  • Lead, train, motivate and develop retails staff in promoting courtesy and improving customer service standards.

Liaison with Mall Management

  • Serve as a point of contact for mall management and coordinate mall-wide promotions, events, and initiatives
  • Support the execution of in-mall marketing campaigns and store events to drive foot traffic and sales

Merchandising & Promotion

  • Develop and execute effective merchandising & promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility, optimal product assortment, presentation, and placement
  • Ensure retail team adhere to visual merchandising standards compliancy and ensure appealing product display

Inventory Management

  • Monitor and analyse stock data, including sales trends, demand forecasting, and lead the team to facilitate accurate replenishment planning

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Range: RM 4,000 – RM 5,500 (depending on experience)

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years in retail operations, with proven management skills, 2+ years in managing multiple stores or equivalent responsibility.
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English, Malay and Mandarin (spoken & written) to effectively communicate with diverse team. 
  • Comfortable working with sales targets and KPIs.
  • Experience in lifestyle products, fashions, sportswear, bags, or consumer goods is a plus.
