Job Summary

Ready to turn empathy into scenario-based gamified learning? By working with us at ActsVille Academy Sdn Bhd, you'll deliver scenario-based, gamified SEL programmes for children and teens that teach emotional regulation, interpersonal skills and responsible decision making with real situations.

As a Teacher/Assistant Teacher you will build hands-on learning experiences and scale simple gamification elements that make lessons memorable, using observations to refine activities and support steady student growth.

• Develop practical facilitation skills by leading SEL sessions and small-group games across ages 4 to 19. 
• Expand your curriculum design portfolio by creating gamified activities and concise formative assessments that show measurable progress. 
• Build mentoring and reporting experience through regular observation notes and progress tracking, preparing you for senior training or curriculum roles. 
• Strengthen bilingual engagement by communicating with English and Mandarin-speaking learners and families, widening your professional network.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Instruction & Facilitation

• Lead EQ/SEL sessions and camps for children and teens aged 4 to 19 using scenario-based, gamified activities that build emotional regulation and interpersonal skills.
• Facilitate small-group games and guided reflections, explaining concepts simply and warmly so learners can practise new behaviours.

Observation & Assessment

• Observe students during sessions to identify individual SEL needs and note behaviour and progress patterns.
• Prepare lesson materials, teaching plans, and concise formative assessment reports to document growth and inform lesson adjustments.

Curriculum & Gamification

• Co-design and introduce simple gamification elements that fit the curriculum and increase engagement.
• Track student progress and report findings to the Training & Development team for follow-up and improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• You are currently pursuing or hold a degree or diploma in Education, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field.
• You are comfortable working with children and teens aged 4 to 19.
• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp facilitation is a plus but not required.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Clear communication skills, able to explain concepts simply and warmly to young learners.
• Organised approach to preparing materials and writing basic progress and assessment notes.
• Mandarin and English bilingual ability is an advantage for engaging Chinese-speaking parents and children.

Soft Skills & Qualities

• Genuine interest in emotional intelligence and child development, with a growth mindset.
• Patient, observant, and energetic, comfortable leading and facilitating small group activities and games.
