About the Role
ActsVille Academy is looking for an Teacher/Assistant Teacher in EQ & Social Emotional Learning (SEL) to join our Training & Development team. You'll work directly with children and teens (ages 4 - 19) to facilitate social-emotional learning sessions, run engaging EQ-based activities, and support their emotional and interpersonal growth, all within a structured, scenario-based gamified curriculum.

This is a hands-on, people-facing role. You won't just be teaching from a textbook, you'll be observing children in class, identifying their SEL needs, designing simple gamification elements, and helping kids build real emotional regulation skills through games, group activities, and guided reflection.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate EQ/SEL training sessions and camps for children and teens
• Observe classes to identify students' EQ development needs
• Prepare lesson materials, teaching plans, and formative assessment reports
• Support emotional regulation activities and SEL-based group games
• Help design and introduce gamification elements into the course
• Track and report on students' progress

Working Hours

• Tuesday - Saturday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
• Off day: Sunday & Monday

1. Currently pursuing or holds a degree/diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, or Psychology, related field
2. Comfortable working with children and teens (ages 4 - 19)
3. Genuine interest in emotional intelligence, child development, and with a growth mindset
4. Good communication skills; able to explain concepts simply and warmly to young learners
5. Patient, observant, and energetic: comfortable leading/facilitating small group activities and games
6. Organised: able to prepare materials and write basic progress/assessment notes
7. Mandarin/English bilingual a plus (for engaging Chinese-speaking parents and children)
8. Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, coaching, or camp facilitation is a bonus but not mandatory
