Job Description

As the Merchandise Executive, your role is to oversee the end-to-end movement of goods, ensuring manufacturing of new and finished products reach customers. You will support the organization’s merchandising and supply chain operations by managing procurement, coordinating logistics, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely product availability aligned with business demands and commercial objectives. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, source, and manage product assortments aligned with company targets, seasonal strategies, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets. 
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes including supplier sourcing, RFQ, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and delivery follow-up. 
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and logistics providers to ensure smooth inbound and outbound shipment operations. 
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimise overstock and stockout situations while optimising working capital. 
  • Track supplier performance against key metrics such as lead time, on-time delivery, and product quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 


Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, supply chain, procurement, or inventory management, preferably in a retail, FMCG, fashion, or e-commerce environment. 
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Retail Management, or a related field. 
  • Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent platforms. 
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and basic import/export and Incoterms knowledge. 
  • Strong analytical, detailed, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed commercial decisions. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to manage supplier relationships and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
