Job Description

• Oversee the security of IT systems and infrastructure across the organization.
• Accountable for all security-related Business As Usual (BAU) reporting to senior management.
• Perform firmware and software upgrades on security devices.
• Conduct vulnerability scans on new hosts and collaborate with VAPT vendors for penetration testing (PENTEST).
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular reviews on security devices.
• Ensure security devices are monitored and maintained securely in good practice.
• Maintain up-to-date IT security documentation, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure no End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Support (EOS) issues for security devices.
• Address and resolve vulnerabilities in security devices promptly.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in the IT security field or IT banking industry.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
• Strong understanding of EDR, NDR, DDOS Protection, WAF, DLP, Web Proxy, Anti-Spam/Phishing, SIEM, especially within the banking industry.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCIDSS, BNM RMiT, VISA, Mastercard, ISO27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework (NIST CSF), and ITIL processes.
• Experience in managing teams and understanding IT operations, risk management, and compliance processes.
• Knowledge of IT security documentation and the ability to communicate procedures effectively.
• Strong understanding of general IT security concepts and technical knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, with excellent written and oral communication abilities.
