Role Overview

Affinity is looking for an Accounting / Finance Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role suitable for someone who wants to build strong practical experience in day-to-day finance operations, accounting processes and client support.

You will work closely with our senior finance and advisory team and gain exposure to different businesses, industries and finance functions. This role provides an opportunity to develop a strong understanding of how finance operations work in practice, while supporting clients in managing their accounting and financial processes.

This position is based in the Kuala Lumpur / Selangor area. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day accounting and finance operations for our clients.
• Understand the clients' finance workflows, procedures and internal controls.
• Support clients with their day-to-day finance processes, payment matters and administrative requirements.
• Assist in maintaining and preparation of cash flow schedules, finance trackers and other management reports.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within the required timelines.
• Assist with other accounting, finance and advisory assignments as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance and/ or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CIMA and CPA etc.).
• Fresh graduate or candidate with at least one (1) years of experience undertaking a similar role.
• Familiar with accounting software and proficient in office suite (i.e. spreadsheet and word processing etc.).
• Strong command of written and verbal English, with excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Possess strong analytical skills, meticulous and good time management.
