Job Description
Our small Italian fine-dining restaurant and attached private members' club is lookig for a new member of our culinary team to expand our existing crew. We are a non-halal restaurant with chefs needing to handle alcohol and pork in food prep.
You should
- be a culinary school graduate with at least some experience in a professional kitchen environment.
- have a particular interest in Italian or mediterranian cuising
- be familiar with common Italian ingredients and tastes
- show creative flair for flavour profiling and plating
- be fluent in spoken and written English and familiar with common culinary terminology
Job Requirements
The Commis Chef will support the kitchen team with:
- precise preparation of components for dishes
- orderly mise en place
- assistance during dinner service
