Our client is part of a Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX)–listed industrial group and a leading player in the commodity trading industry. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable, Team Lead to strengthen their finance operations.

This is a key leadership role for a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume transaction environment and wants to be part of a professionally governed, listed-group organisation.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments in a high-volume environment
• Manage supplier reconciliations, payment schedules, and aging reports to support healthy cashflow
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, SST and e-invoicing regulations
• Work closely with operations and procurement teams to support business cashflow planning
• Prepare AP performance and aging reports for management review
• Drive process improvements to strengthen governance, controls, and efficiency

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead / supervisory role
• Experience in trading, manufacturing, logistics, or commodity-based industries is highly advantageous
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and ERP systems
• Good Excel skills and ability to handle high transaction volumes
• Able to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment
• A proactive team leader with strong problem-solving skills
