To be responsible for the daily management and development of branch operations to meet the objectives and plans established for the branch:
- To assist Management in the development of clear objectives and sound long term plans and strategies for the branch.
- To be responsible for the active marketing and promotion of the branch products; in this connection is responsible for good public relations at the branch level.
- To initiate and assist the Assistant General Manager and respective Divisional Managers in establishing sales targets and formulating marketing plans and strategies.
- To be responsible for achieving sales budgets and branch profitability.
- To keep branch expenditure within approved budget.
- To monitor activities of principal clients and competitors in the region and regularly advise and communicate the information to management.
- To communicate as often as necessary with the Assistant General Manager and Divisional Managers; review branch performances, discuss and resolve any branch problems (including that involving policies) with him.
- To be responsible for the daily management of the breach operations within the corporate policies and in accordance with established procedures.
- To organize, direct, coordinate and control the work of subordinates and ensure that they have full understanding of their responsibilities.
- To review and assess subordinates’ performance on a regular and formal basis, decide and make recommendation to the management on their recruitment / appointment, transfer or dismissal and remuneration.
- To be responsible for the overall administrative discipline of the staff and to ensure the harmonious relationship amongst staff.
- To be responsible for the proper accounting of branch operations and the timely preparation of the periodic financial and other reports required of the branch.
- To ensure that all branch assets are used in its proper economic manner and are safeguard against loss or misuse.
- To be responsible for the safe custody and control of stocks in the branch.
- To control branch credit and funds (including debtors’ collections) in accordance with the established policies and procedures.
- To act as a cheque signatory for the branch bank account.
- Others duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the Management.
【Must】
- At least 5 years’ experience in Sales & Marketing as a manager or Degree in either Mechanical, Wood Science, Forestry, Agro Science or Electrical Engineering
- Engineering background (mechanical or engine-related)
- Willing to travel
- Having own car
- Good communication skills in Chinese, English and Malay.
