Job Description

Working Location: Sha Alam Section U1

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (9.00AM - 6.00PM)

Job Descriptions:

  1. Sales & Client Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with academic institutions, libraries, and research organizations.
  2. Training & User Enablement
    • Perform training needs analysis (TNA)
    • Provide platform training to professional researchers
    • Arrange and coordinate either physical or online training with end-users
    • Lead and facilitate engaging training sessions on the features and benefits of the platforms.
    • Enhance researchers’ skills and knowledge in using digital academic tools and platforms.
    • Collect feedback during training sessions to continuously improve user experience and adoption.
    • Design, develop, and tailor training materials to align with client needs and platform functionalities.
  3. Market & Industry Awareness
    • Monitor and stay updated on publishing industry trends, emerging technologies, and academic best practices.
    • Share insights with the sales and product teams to align strategies with market developments.
  4. Support & Problem Solving
    • Address client inquiries, provide solutions, and ensure customer satisfaction during and after training.
    • Identify challenges during training sessions and proactively develop solutions to enhance effectiveness. 

Job Requirements

<Requirement>

  1. Candidate must possess a minimum of Diploma in any field. 
  2. Candidate possesses minimum 1-2 years of sales experience, who is interested to do after-sales support.
  3. Possess own car with a valid driving license.
  4. Willing to travel within Malaysia

<Advantageous>

  1. Professional working proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and other languages is a plus.
  2. Adequate computer skills especially in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  3. Ability to deliver engaging presentations and conduct effective training sessions.
  4. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges in training or adoption.
  5. Previous experience in inside sales or account management is an advantage.
