Job responsibilities
<ol>
<li>Production Planning and Execution - Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer and business requirements. - Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust staffing levels as needed to optimize efficiency. - Ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and resources to minimize downtime and delays. - Collaborate with other departments, including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics, to align production efforts with organizational objectives.</li>
<li>Quality Assurance - Ensure all products meet internal and external quality standards and specifications. - Implement and maintain quality control procedures and documentation. - Promptly address and resolve any quality issues or non-conformances. - Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement on the production floor. </li>
<li>Safety and Compliance - Enforce adherence to company health and safety regulations and best practices. - Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of production areas. - Lead incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and environmental standards. </li>
<li>Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and efficiency. - Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics, achievements, and areas for improvement. - Analyse production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. - Participate in regular management meetings and contribute to strategic planning. </li>
<li>Process Improvement - Identify, recommend, and implement process enhancements to drive productivity and cost savings. - Lead or participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. - Encourage staff involvement in problem-solving and innovation. </li>
<li>Resource Management - Oversee the proper use and maintenance of machinery, tools, and equipment. - Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance and minimize unplanned downtime. - Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules&nbsp;</li>
