Job Description
The Assistant Manager, Business Development will lead and assist the business development team to acquire new clients, build strong client relationships, develop sales strategies, provide market insights, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver logistics solutions.

- Assist the BD HOD in team management and providing market insights.
- Lead the BD team in hunting new business and building strong client relationships.
- Create smart sales strategies to grow market share.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and be the expert clients trust.
- Work with internal teams to deliver top-tier logistics solutions.
- Present, pitch, and close deals.
Qualifications & Other Requirements:
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales, business development, or logistics.
- Diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Owns a car and doesn’t mind some travel.
- Someone with hustle and ambition; experience in sales/logistics is a plus.
- A natural people person who can build strong connections.
- A problem-solver with a 'let’s make it happen' attitude.
