Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Achieve the sales targets set by management through effective planning and execution.
     
  • Proactively identify, research, and target potential customers across various industries and markets.
     
  • Generate leads via cold calling, email outreach, networking events, referrals, and other creative channels.
     
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
     
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and secure repeat business.
     
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s logistics solutions and services.
     
  • Collaborate with clients to design customised logistics solutions that meet their specific business requirements.
     
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure profitable agreements.
     
  • Keep up to date with logistics industry trends, competitive offerings, and market developments.
     
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, particularly for international logistics and transportation.
     
  • Work closely with operations, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure seamless contract execution and high service quality.
     


Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions.
     
  • Strong business development, communication, and negotiation skills.
     
  • Ability to build long-term relationships and provide consultative solutions to clients.
     
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
     
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
     
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin in order to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients and partners.
     
  • Willingness to travel and meet clients when required.
