Job Description

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated and driven Sales Engineer to strengthen our business and drive growth in key industries like Oil & Gas, Semiconductors, Food & Beverage, Water & Wastewater. If you thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy building lasting relationships, this role is for you!

 What You’ll Do: 

  • Market and promote our products and services to existing and new customers.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with clients through meetings, presentations, and discussions.
  • Make sales calls, follow up on quotations, and secure new opportunities.
  • Lead technical discussions, negotiate pricing, and drive project-related conversations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across regions for technical support, pricing, and strategies.
  • Develop and grow our FMS (Field Measurement Systems) and IMS (Instrumentation & Monitoring Systems) business in Malaysia.
  • Prepare and submit tenders, analyze competitors, and participate in technical and commercial meetings.
  • Focus on delivering solutions for industries like Semicon, F&B, Water & Wastewater, and Oil & Gas.
  • Monitor customer payments and ensure a smooth sales process.

Job Requirements

We’re seeking a candidate with the following skills and qualifications to excel in this role:

  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Strong people skills, with excellent command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Presentation & Negotiation Skills: Skilled in delivering impactful presentations and negotiating effectively with clients.
  • Time Management & Commercial Mindset: Ability to manage tasks efficiently while maintaining a focus on achieving business objectives.
  • Leadership & People Management: Demonstrated leadership abilities and the capacity to guide and motivate teams.

Experience & Knowledge:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industrial automation or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of products, applications, and market development in industries like Oil & Gas, F&B, and Semicon.
  • Strong sales experience with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
