Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail oriented and responsible Account Executive to support the day to day accounting and finance operations of the Firm. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial documents, processing transactions & ensuring compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in handling the Firm’s daily accounting and finance operations, including data entry and maintenance of accounting records. 
  • Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts & other supporting financial documents accurately and in a timely manner. 
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, reconciliations & supporting schedules. 
  • Maintain proper filing systems and ensure accounting records are organised and up to date. 
  • Process payments, monitor accounts payable and receivable & follow up on outstanding matters where necessary. 
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers & relevant authorities on finance related matters when required. 
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards & statutory requirements. 
  • Support budgeting, administrative tasks & other ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Management. 
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial and operational processes.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. 
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and finance practices. 
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as AutoCount or similar systems would be an added advantage. 
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written & spoken. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. 
  • Detail oriented, organised & willing to learn. 
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. 
  • Good communication, time management & problem solving skills. 
  • Positive attitude with a sense of responsibility and professionalism.
