Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a Human Resource Assistant with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience to support the day to day HR operations within our law firm. This role is suitable for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and able to handle HR administrative matters while supporting employee engagement and compliance with Malaysian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist with job postings, interview scheduling & candidate coordination.
  • Support onboarding arrangements and documentation for new hires.

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with leave management, payroll coordination & other HR administrative tasks.
  • Prepare HR letters, forms & reports as required.

Employee Support & Welfare

  • Support the administration of employee benefits such as medical, insurance & leave entitlements.
  • Assist in handling employee queries and day to day HR matters.

Performance & Employee Engagement

  • Support performance review processes and follow up on required documentation.
  • Assist in organising employee engagement activities and internal events.

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure HR records and practices are aligned with company policies and Malaysian labour regulations.
  • Assist in updating HR policies, handbooks & procedures when required.

Job Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in HR or administrative support roles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail oriented, organised & willing to learn.
