We will equip you with the critical skills, tools and technology, and endless opportunities to learn, contribute and thrive in a dynamic and exciting environment.If you want to shape a brighter future at AIA Digital+, please read on.About the Role• Providing BAU support for Group Application Data Platform • Support, maintain and monitor data pipeline under Group Application Data Platform against SLAs as agreed with various business stakeholders.Key responsibilities<ul><li>Support, maintain, and monitor data pipelines to ensure smooth daily operations.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues related to data staging, orchestration, refresh, and transformation.</li><li>Check and investigate Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks pipeline/job status and address common failure causes.</li><li>Perform minor pipeline adjustments, enhancements, and configuration updates when required.</li><li>Support Power BI, including dataset refresh troubleshooting and resolving data model/connection issues.</li><li>Monitor overall pipeline performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and operational timelines.</li><li>Resolve operational issues reported by users and ensure timely recovery.</li><li>Provide support during critical reporting cycles, including occasional standby when necessary.</li></ul> Support / Standardize<ul><li>Follow established guidelines, standards, and best operational practices.</li><li>Own issues end‑to‑end to ensure resolution and prevent recurrence.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve production issues within agreed timelines.</li><li>Communicate effectively with management, business users, and technical teams.</li><li>Work independently with strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in IT or other relevant disciplines.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>5+ years’ IT work experience in a relevant role e.g. Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Architect and/or Data Engineer.</li><li>Tertiary qualification in ANY of the following: Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Maths/Statistical</li></ul>Technical skills:<ul><li>Mandatory experience with Azure Cloud services (ADLS, ADF, Databricks).</li><li>Strong SQL skills, with the ability to read, understand, and troubleshoot complex queries.</li><li>Hands‑on Power BI experience (2–3 years) including data modelling, DAX, dataset refresh troubleshooting, and RLS.</li><li>Good understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals.</li><li>Practical experience with Python for basic troubleshooting in Databricks notebooks.</li><li>Familiarity with Power Platform components (PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse) for operational support.</li><li>Basic cloud certification (e.g., Azure) is an advantage.</li></ul>Soft Skills<ul><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical documentation.</li><li>Customer‑focused, with solid stakeholder engagement and service‑oriented mindset.</li><li>Able to analyze issues, solve problems effectively, and perform well under pressure.</li></ul>Build a career with us as we help our customers and the community live healthier, longer, better lives.You must provide all requested information, including Personal Data, to be considered for this career opportunity.
