About the Role

Manage and oversee financial reporting deliverables for AIA Group’s reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all financial reporting deliverables for AIA Group’s reporting.
  • Understand AIA Group’s reporting requirements and ensure timely submission of deliverables within agreed timeline.
  • Collaborate with Actuarial on the presentation and discussion with various stakeholders related to IFRS 17 and IFRS 9 results.
  • Ensure controls on procedures and results with audit evidences and updated documentation are in place with regular review for enhancement.
  • Understand the requirements and lead the preparation of IFRS 17 related disclosure note and ensure timely completion within agreed timeline.
  • Plan staff training and development by job enlargement / rotation by identify potential team member to develop his / her career path within AIA and identify appropriate training for the team.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • A recognized Degree in Finance or Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Ability to work independently and possess good problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, knowledge of SAP accounting system will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
