About the Role

Responsible on closing and reporting for Group Reporting is completed timely and in accordance with established accounting standard and AIA Group’s policy and requirement

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to prepare the month end closing journal and manage closing task for Group Reporting.
  • Identify area for improvement on SAS journal preparation and expedite the financial close for IFRS 17 and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Group Reporting related areas.
  • Prepare the financial report and IFRS templates and ensure all deliverables are complied with AIA Group Accounting Policies and submit timely and accurately.
  • Responsible to preparing the interim and annual financial statement related MFRS 17.
  • Analyse the monthly financial result under IFRS basis by collaborate with actuarial.
  • Attend to the queries related to Group Reporting
  • Liaise with Group Office, external auditors and internal divisions on Group Reporting related matters.

Min Job Requirements

  • A recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 4 years of relevant working experience.
  • Ability to work independently and possess good problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Excel, knowledge of SAP accounting system will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
