About the Role

This role is responsible to analyze and scope new functions coming into Shared Services as well as re-scope existing functions.

Assist and provide support to the Project Manager in managing the implementation/migration activities across the organization through the execution of established project management methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Project Management: 50%

  • Assist in delivering the project scope, deliverable and objective that support business goals in collaboration with Project Lead, senior management, and stakeholders.

  • Assist in supervising and managing the project progress closely in completing and achieving the project deliverables.

  • Actively identify, communicate, and report significant deviation in project quality, cost or schedule.

  • Perform important administrative functions for the project lead which includes, but not limited to; updating the project schedule, taking minutes at meetings, preparing progress reports, drafting, preparing and maintaining organization documentations, contracts and agreements.

  • Provide project governance including gate reviews, post audits and quality control of the project deliverables.

Analysis and Scoping: 50%

  • Analyze and scope all new functions coming into Operation Shares Services and change requests (change of SLA, process and system) using designated tool, following the process flow and turnaround time spelled out in the URF process map.

  • Engage with business partners and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency, proper governance and planning for new migration and change requests.

  • Provide relevant analysis in regards of resource planning based on changes in operating environment i.e. SLA change, system change, campaign support, etc.

  • Lead and perform the analysis and re-scoping exercise of existing functions annually in line with the budget cycle.

  • Develop and continuously improve the templates/tools used for analysis, scoping and re-scoping.

  • Be responsible for and coordinate cross support effort within the department

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the insurance industry.

  • Familiar with the insurance processes.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Ambitious and driven to achieve project goals

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
