About the Role

This position is responsible to drive innovation and implement cutting-edge digital solutions within the organization. The role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and integrating digital and advanced technologies to transform the overall healthcare experience. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional divisions to identify opportunities for claims, provider and specialist management initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Take charge of developing and implementing the strategy for health initiatives that align with the organization's overall healthcare goals.

  • Quantify high-level value at risk for new initiatives.

  • Unbundle billing behaviors identified, dependent on the availability of suitable OCR data for hospitals where billing behaviors have been audited.

  • Review potential cost containment concepts for each item above, along with an estimated percentage of value captured.

Operational Efficiency

  • Supervise critical metrics to monitor performance and make vital strategy adjustments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with healthcare professionals, IT teams, finance, and operations to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives across the organization.

Data Analytics & Insights

  • Leverage healthcare data analytics to drive decision-making, predict trends, and improve service delivery.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure all digital initiatives align with healthcare regulations and uphold high standards of cybersecurity to safeguard policyholders’ data.

Change Management

  • Develop and lead change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and workflows among clinical and administrative staff.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Work with external technology partners and vendors to source and implement the best digital tools and services.

Minimum Job Requirements

Education

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, or related fields of study.

Experience

  • 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the healthcare and insurance industry.

  • Demonstrated experience in driving and leading initiatives in business transformation, consulting, or technology change.

Special Skills

  • Excellent business insight.

  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to engage, mentor, and motivate staff, and manage change.

  • Inclusive and collaborative – driving teamwork and cross-team alignment.
