About the Role

Processing of Third-Party Property Damage, Third Party Knock-for-Knock (Cost of Repair) and Own Damage (OD) & Own Damage Knock-for-Knock (ODKFK) claims to ensure compliance with BNM and regulatory bodies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Process Own Damage (OD), Third-Party Property Damage (TPPD), and Non-Motor (NM) claims.
  • Assess, negotiate, and approve settlement of claims within delegated authority limits.
  • Review and validate complex claims before submission for higher-level approval.
  • Ensure claims are processed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor adherence to SOPs and escalate any compliance or operational issues to the supervisor.
  • Update No Claim Bonus (NCB) promptly based on claim scenarios and police investigation results.
  • Conduct annual reviews of outstanding claim files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage claims to ensure processing within agreed Turnaround Time (TAT).
  • Attend to inquiries from agents and customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as periodically assigned by the supervisor to meet operational and organizational requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members on claim assessment and processing.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline. Non-degree holders with strong relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Motor or PA claims processing.
  • Proficient in claims systems such as Merimen and POLA.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-focused.
