About Us

Hey there! We're Aify Ventures, an investment group with a portfolio of interesting companies — mainly based in Penang. We help awesome businesses grow, and now we're looking for an AI Workflow Intern (must be Penang-based!) who's excited to get hands-on experience building the AI-powered systems behind our companies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Research & Evaluate AI Tools — Scout for AI tools that can automate or improve workflows across our portfolio, from content creation and scheduling to data summarization and reporting. Test them, compare them, and give us your honest take.
• Build & Document AI Workflows — Use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Make, Notion AI, or similar platforms to design automations that save our teams real time. Document them clearly so anyone can pick them up and use them.
• Support Marketing Teams with AI — Help portfolio companies use AI to assist with content drafting (in Chinese & English), social media scheduling, caption writing, and graphic templating — making output faster without losing quality.
• Assist with Prompt Engineering — Write, refine, and organize prompts for common business tasks like market research, competitor analysis, email drafts, and reports. Help us build a reusable prompt library for the group.
• Cross-Company Exposure — This isn't a one-company role. You'll work with different teams across our portfolio, which means diverse problems, diverse industries, and a steep learning curve — in the best way.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Location: Based in Penang — you'll need to be local for this role.
• Languages: Good proficiency in both Chinese and English (writing and speaking).
• Studying Business, IT, Marketing, Communications, or any related field — what matters more is your curiosity about AI and how things can be done better.
• You've used at least one AI tool (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, etc.) and you actually think about how to use it well.
• Comfortable with office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms (Instagram, XHS, etc.).
• Organized, reliable, and able to juggle tasks across different companies at the same time.
• Self-driven, love sharing ideas, and happy to figure things out as they come.
• Flexible and open to new challenges — training will be provided if you're willing to learn.

Bonus Points If...

• You've played with automation tools like Make, Zapier, n8n, or Notion automations.
• You've intentionally written and refined prompts to get better results from AI tools.
• You've tried design tools like Canva, CapCut, Midjourney, or Adobe Firefly.
• You're curious about how investment groups and portfolio companies operate.
